Alums discuss NASA, Boeing in UNICOM Talks

The Department of Aerospace Engineering welcomed two of its alumni in the kickoff the new UNICOM Talks, sponsored by the department’s Make to Innovate student program. The presentations will bring industry professionals to Iowa State to discuss various topics, and are open to all at Iowa State and the public.

David Voracek, who received a B.S. from the department in 1986, has been employed at the NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center since 1987, and is currently a NASA Chief Technologist.

Kim Pastega, who received a B.S. from Iowa State aerospace engineering in 1991, has had a 27-year career at Boeing, where she is currently Vice President, Supply Chain Delivery and Performance for Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Operations.
